                       <i class=\"ct-icon-accordion\"><\/i>\r\n                    <\/a>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div id=\"98e146cct_accordion-60e5f30\" class=\"ct-ac-content\" style=\"display:block;\"><p>Zimbabwean citizens can now apply for Import and Export Licences online.<\/p><p><strong><b>How to Apply for an Import\/Export Licence<\/b><\/strong><\/p><ol><li>In order to be able to access the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Import\/Export online applications,<\/li><\/ol><p>you must first register on the ZimConnect Portal. Use the direct link <a href=\"https:\/\/zimeservices.pfms.gov.zw\"><u>https:\/\/zimeservices.pfms.gov.zw<\/u><\/a>\u00a0<\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li>On the page that opens, choose <strong><b>Login<\/b><\/strong>if you are already registered on the ZimConnect platform. If not, choose <strong><b>Click here to register<\/b><\/strong>and follow the instructions. This registration is for <strong><b>individuals<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0only. There is no need for you to register your company on this platform because company information is retrieved from the Companies Registry database through the use of the company number that is on the Certificate of Incorporation. You will enter the company number when having accessed the Import\/Export licence online application, as shall be explained below. After registering, click <strong><b>Login<\/b><\/strong>.<\/li><li>Once logged in, locate the <strong><b>Ministry of Industry and Commerce<\/b><\/strong>section, and expand the <strong><b>Enterprise Development<\/b><\/strong>menu. Choose Apply for <strong><b>Import Licence<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0or <strong><b>Export Licence<\/b><\/strong>.<\/li><li>After reading the requirements on the page that opens, scroll down and select whether it is a <strong><b>company application<\/b><\/strong>or an <strong><b>individual application.<\/b><\/strong>If it is a company application, you will need to enter the company number as shown on the certificate of incorporation. Click NEXT and proceed through the following pages, providing the requested information. Click SAVE APPLICATION after having filled in the application form and the next page is where you shall attach the required documents. The application number will be shown after submission and shall also be sent to the logged in user\u2019s email address.<\/li><li>Give at most 3 working days to receive feedback on the processing of the application.<\/li><\/ol><p><strong><b>Payment of Import\/Export Licence fee<\/b><\/strong><\/p><p>Should your application for an Import\/Export Licence be approved, proceed to filling in the <strong><b>Import Licence Issuance\/Export Licence Issuance form.<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0Only <strong><b>APPROVED <\/b><\/strong>applications can provide access to<\/p><p>this form.<\/p><p>Proceed as follows:<\/p><ol><li>Click on Import Licence Issuance<\/li><li>Enter the application number for your APPROVED initial import\/export application. The system<\/li><\/ol><p>will validate if the application number entered is for an approved application<\/p><ol start=\"3\"><li>Once accessed, fill in the required fields on the <strong><b>import\/export licence issuance form<\/b><\/strong>.<\/li><li>You have an option to pay your application fee online. If you wish to pay online, click on MAKE<\/li><\/ol><p>PAYMENT VIA PAYNOW. Make the necessary payment on PAYNOW using any of the various<\/p><p>payment options available and, once paid, a confirmation message will be sent to you.<\/p><ol start=\"5\"><li>If you do not wish to make an online payment, please proceed to office 47, 14th floor, Mukwati<\/li><\/ol><p>Building and make the payment there. After paying, scan the receipt, and when filling in the<\/p><p>issuance form, select the option \u201cI have proof of payment ready to be attached\u201d from the drop-down that asks if you have made a payment for the application. This is done through levy collections which are disbursed in the form of grants to organizations that deal with the above objective. The current beneficiaries are Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ), Southern African Development Community Accreditation Services (SADCAS), Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC), National Competitiveness Commission (NCC) and Trade Measures Department (TMD).<\/p><p>In order to attain the continuous improvement of its revenue collections, the Standards Development Fund enforces compliance to the Standard Development Fund Act by routine wage bill inspection visits.
